Megna Homes CEO Ahmed Badawy at the event underscored the company's commitment to working closely with the local community, particularly the youth.

"We are dedicated to collaborating with the youth of Kisauni, ensuring that the more than 2,000 employment opportunities generated by this project are filled by local residents," Badawy stated, expressing gratitude to the government for its support.

MP Bedzimba expressed his appreciation for Megna Homes' decision to bring this project to Kisauni. He emphasized the project's potential to reshape Kisauni's image, long associated with insecurity and underdevelopment.

"This Sh.4B project will not only elevate Kisauni's status but also provide invaluable opportunities for our youth," Bedzimba noted.

In a departure from protocol, Governor Nassir bypassed the podium to speak directly to the youth, urging them to seize the opportunities presented by the project. He called on the local community and businesses to leverage the development for their betterment.

"I am thrilled by this investment, knowing it will lead to significant positive changes for our community," the governor remarked.

The Santana affordable housing project is set to be a game-changer for Kisauni, promising new homes and a brighter future for its residents.

The project is expected to include perks and amenities such as a police post, a sewer treatment plant, a modern drainage system, and recreational and commercial spaces. It will consist of 816 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, starting at Sh.2.6 million.
