Police in Machakos are investigating an incident where a 77-year-old man was found dead in a hotel room after checking in accompanied by a 32–year–old woman.

A hotel employee discovered the lifeless body in the room informed management, and alerted police.

Details in the report indicate the naked lifeless body was found Sunday morning, September 10. The 32-year-old companion was also found in the room indicating they may have spent the night together before the man met his death.

Investigators on the scene found 25 tablet sachets of men's boosting pills, 4 of which were empty. The man allegedly consumed the drugs, pending a report from the medical examiner.

The incident took place in the Masii area in Mwala Sub-County.

The body has been taken to Machakos funeral home to help the police to make complete investigations.

On the other hand, the 32-year-old lady is currently a suspect and has been booked by the police for further questioning to assist with the investigations.
